Lift Her Up

 BABAE KA, HINDI BABAE LANG.

Women's Month is observed worldwide every March to celebrate the accomplishments, contributions, and resilience of women globally. "Babae ka, Hindi Babae Lang” is a potent reminder of the numerous aspects of women's identities and roles that go beyond conventional expectations and stereotypes.

It's an opportunity to take stock of the progress made towards the goal of gender equality and to recommit to tackling the enduring issues that women endure. Women still face barriers that prevent them from fully taking part in society and being empowered, from unequal access to healthcare and education to discrimination and violence based on gender.

Moreover, we celebrate the women who have broken through glass walls, challenged expectations, and paved the path for upcoming generations by celebrating Women's Month. We give respect to the mothers, sisters, friends, and women who have given so much to their families, neighbourhoods, and societies. Women's Month is also an opportunity to raise the voices of women and promote gender equality in all its forms. Now is the moment to hear the stories of women, highlight their accomplishments, and raise awareness of their aspirations for equality, justice, and respect.

To conclude, Women's Month is a movement for change as well as a time to celebrate. This is a time to pay respect to and acknowledge the priceless contributions made by women to our society. Now is the moment to reaffirm gender equality and to create a future in which "Babae ka, Hindi Babae Lang" is a reality for all women, not simply a catchphrase.
